This issue on life coaching is designed to help Higher Self Magazine ™'s readers understand and manage the events that occur in our lives. Life brings events - it rains them down on us, bubbles them up from below us, and swirls events around us like a tidal pool. That makes life coaching very important. These events can be large, small, or just difficult to categorize. Life brings love and hate, employment and unemployment, good and bad fortune, life and death. These things aren't necessarily good or bad. They are necessarily a part of every life's experience. Every day there is some part of life that happens, that is getting ready to happen or that just happened. There isn't always a way to tell how to seek, avoid, understand, react, control, or manage these events. Events require decisions.
Decisions come in all shapes and sizes. They include choosing a type of tissue when you have a runny nose, and choosing a casket following the death of a loved one. Should a magazine publisher sell a magazine, or give it away? And if they give it away, should it be "free" or should it be "complimentary"? Life's decisions include deciding to control your time, finances, love, work and life, or deciding not to. You can decide not to, but "if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice" -- Neal Peart
It is a choice to focus an issue on life coaching. The choice was made to benefit readers - to help our readers be more authentic to themselves in all that they do, to understand the value and power of working through body, mind and spirit. Success in this will reflect the value of decisions across the great realm of events, opportunities and possibilities that every sweet wonderful life allows.
